3. My roller skates used to be Mam's, and are almost 40 years old.

4. 21 is my lucky number.

5. Even though I've been living in America for three years, I still have a really strong Irish accent.

6. Ever since what happened to me back in Ireland, I've had huge trust issues.

7. I screamed when I realized that I got this award!

That's about it for now! We're having Spirit Week at school soon, so I'll be sure to post about that!

  1. Konnichiwa, Saoirse!

    Congratulations!

:O What languages? I only do that in my native language (not that I have to often).

I've lived in America for a year and a half, and I still speak with my Osaka-ben (Osakan accent), and it makes my voice seemed higher-pitched than other girls'. And because the 'l' sound doesn't exist in Japanese, I sometimes replace 'l' sounds with 'r' sound and I sound really... odd.

Ah, school spirit week! Hope you have fun! Does you school have a mascot? Mine is bobcats!

    Sore iko, Sayoko

    1. Dia duit, Sayoko!

      Thank you!

I can swear in English, Irish, Spanish, and Japanese. As I get older, it's increasingly becoming more useful... >:D

Yeah, I know what you mean. When I read, I often pronounce English words the way I would if they were Irish, so I hate reading aloud in class.

A bobcat is such a cool mascot! Our mascot is a moose. I'd rather it be a red panda, but I guess I can't always have it my way...
